09-18-17 Minutes Mayport Corridor Business District- no signature needed MINUTES “MAYPORT CORRIDOR BUSINESS DISTRICT” WORKSHOP SEPTEMBER 18, 2017 – 6:00 PM Atlantic Beach City Commission Chamber 800 Seminole Road IN ATTENDANCE: STAFF: Amy Crane Deputy Manager Kevin Hogencamp Kelly Erhayel City Attorney Brenna Durden Linda Lanier Interim Planning Director Derek Reeves Recording Secretary Joanie Bowman ABSENT: Molly Austin Michael Hoffman Dawn Scott Deputy City Manager Kevin Hogencamp called the meeting to order at 6:52 p.m. in the Commission Chambers. 1. Welcome and Agenda Deputy City Manager Hogencamp welcomed everyone and explained the purpose of the meeting. 2. Introductions Deputy City Manager Hogencamp asked everyone in attendance to state their name for the record and turned the meeting over to Ms. Lanier. 3. Group Process Ms. Lanier inquired if there were any questions or comments from members. Ms. Crane inquired about the proposed outcome of this meeting and what would it be used for. Deputy City Manager Hogencamp explained the idea is to receive input from affected residents and business owners to give the Community Development Board perspective and information beyond what they would have gotten if this exercise did not take place. He explained that after this exercise and three public hearings, it will be up to the City Commission to approve a Mayport Business Overlay District.   The selected stakeholders continued a facilitated exercise from the prior meeting about the specific permitted uses across the commercial and industrial zoning districts in the Mayport Corridor Business Overly District. 4.
