RE: 2000-O1 BudgeL Recommendations
The Board held a regular meeting on June 13,2000 and voted to recornmend the following
items in priority for inclusion in the proposed budget.
1. Programs and Events $ 25,000
Expand the number of organized programs for youth and senior citizens. Set aside
$5,000 for Teen Councit.
2. Park Improvement Aid $ 25,000
Funds allocated for specific park improvements as needed. This could include trail
repair, park signs and other related items.
3. Atlantic Beach Elementary Partnership $ 25,000
Short term solution that will provide additional baseball and soccer fields for league
practices.
4. ABAA Association $ 6,750
Provide financial assistance for maintenance of Russell Park baseball fields.
