.Police Department:
The Police Department continues to demonstrate increased activity in specific
areas. The arrest rate for the year 2000 has increased approximately 30%, and the
number of Uniform Traffic Citations (LJTC) has increased by approximately 16%.
There has been a 13% decrease in the number of incidents reported.
