Dear Ms. Person:
I am writing to inform you that the Tree Conservation Board has determined your situation to consist
of extenuating circumstances, and thus has granted you exemption from the Tree Removal Permit
and Mitigation requirements of Section 23, Article II of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances,
as it pertains to the removal of a 30” Cedar during the month of May 2007. Thus, you will not be
required to reappear before the board pertaining to this tree removal, nor will you be required to
designate existing trees as protected or plant replacement trees.
