1680 Jordan Street (Tree Letter) 11.02.2006 signedNovember 2, 2006 Ms. Cynthia Doctor - VIA CERTIFIED MAIL 1680 Jordan Street Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 Dear Ms. Doctor: On or about October 27th, two water oak trees located in front of your home were cut down. On Monday, October 30th, you called Public Works demanding that the tree debris be picked up. Investigation confirmed these trees were located in the city right of way and were removed without permit. Measurements taken at that time indicated the trees were approximately 14" and 22" diameter (stump measurements). You are requested to appear before the Tree Conservation Board to explain the removal of these public, protected trees. The Tree Conservation Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Adele Grage Community Center at Ocean Avenue and 7th Street. The next meeting will be on November 8th at 7:00 pm. If you have any documents you would like the Board to review for the meeting, please deliver them to Public Works by 4:30 pm, Monday, November 6th. If you have any questions, please contact me at 247-5834. Sincerely, Rick Carper, P.E.
