Dear Mr. Johnson:
Enclosed please find a permit for the removal of ten (10) oaks from the exterior zone of the above -
listed property. As we previously discussed, only one tree — the 6.5" oak — is considered regulated
and warrants mitigation according to the provisions of Chapter 23 (Vegetation) of the City of Atlantic
Beach Municipal Code of Ordinances. However, the preservation of the existing 12" and 24"
Southern Magnolias, and the 48" Oak far exceeds the 3.25" assessment. Thus, no additional
plantings or mitigation fees are required.
