Pete, addressed to you since your name is on the permit applications. Glynn & Kelly, to you since your names
are on the Civil and Landscape plans respectively.
Major issue (that should have been caught on my initial review of plans) is removal of 30" and 40" Live Oaks
that will be required for proposed new crossover locations in Selva Marina Drive median. By size these trees
meet definition for Heritage trees in Chapter 23, and mitigation will be 3" for each 1" removed.

ACTION ON PLANS
ACTION/RESOLUTION
1
Proposed relocation of driveways / crossovers on Selva
Marina Drive will require removal of two Live Oaks
(-r40" and -30") and one 12" palm tree. Tree removal
permit for removal from City ROW required, along with
mitigation for removal (3" to 1" for removal of heritage
trees from ROW, i.e., LO => 30").
2
Plans should specify that pavement section detail on
sheet 20 applies for SM Drive crossovers or submit
proposed pavement section for AB approval, if
v
different.
3
Landscape plans do not include proposed restoration
of ground under removed crossovers (sod, trees, etc.).
(Civil plans sheet 29 notes sodding only for north
crossover, southern not addressed). Probably no
limerock present, but if found when pavement
removed, it will also require removal before planting.
4
Irrigation plans not included in submittal to PW.
Developer / ABCC will be responsible for watering and
maintenance of all plantings in the ROW along Country
Club frontage and for maintenance of the irrigation
system. City will assume responsibility for grass and
trees in median when well established.

Re: Atlantic Beach Country Club — Clubhouse and Landscape
Dear Mr. Rick Carper:
The following are our responses to your Public Works plan review comments (dated 12-20-13).
1. Comment: Proposed relocation of driveways / crossovers on Selva Marina Drive will
require removal of two Live Oaks (-40" and —30") and one 12" palm tree. Tree removal
permit for removal from City ROW required, along with mitigation for removal (3" to 1"
for removal of heritage trees from ROW, i.e., LO => 30").
Response: The 40" Live Oak will be saved and the crossover relocated 5' south of
the face of the tree. The 30" Live Oak is actually 23.24" in caliper and will be
removed and mitigated at 1:1. Seven (7) 5" Live Oaks will be planted in the median
as indicated on the drawing ML -1. The palm is included in the 35" of provided new
plant material.
2. Comment: Plans should specify that pavement section detail on sheet 20 applies for SM
Drive crossovers or submit proposed pavement section for AB approval, if different.
Response: This comment will be handled by Taylor & White.
3. Comment: Landscape plans do not include proposed restoration of ground under
removed crossovers (sod, trees, etc.). (Civil plans sheet 29 notes sodding only for north
crossover, southern not addressed). Probably no limerock present, but if found when
pavement removed, it will also require removal before planting.
Response: The existing asphalt crossovers and any lime rock will be removed and
the requisite amount of topsoil will be added to match existing median grades. The
areas will be sodded and irrigated.
4. Comment: Irrigation plans not included in submittal to PW. Developer / ABCC will be
responsible for watering and maintenance of all plantings in the ROW along Country
Club frontage and for maintenance of the irrigation system. City will assume
responsibility for grass and trees in median when well established.
Response: Irrigation plans for the median and R.O.W. are supplied on Sheet ML -2
and Clubhouse I)esign Sheets IR -1-4. The irrigation system will utilize reclaimed
water from the 8" reclaimed supply line that runs down the new Atlantic Beach
