Good morning!
I have gotten with the Jaegers and Scott Williams regarding denied permit ACC19-
0058. Attached is our plan to remedy the denial, and below is some info about the
situation (it is almost a year old at this point).
The Jaegers hired a contractor to do their brick paver patio in their backyard.
Unfortunately, it was not us or this whole mess would not be happening! The company
failed to pull a permit, or even let the homeowner know that it was required. The result
was over the allowed permeable coverage rate of 45%, so the city put a Stop Work
Order but the project was already done. The contractor told the Jaeger family they do
not pull permits and would not help them remedy this situation in any way, so they found
us.
They really like and need the patio in the backyard, so we are going to remove their
driveway and two walkways to be replaced with granite rock with a paver border. We
will paver the apron as required by COAB, please advise the width required and we will
install as instructed. I believe it needs to be at least 18 inches off the street, so that is
what I have demonstrated on the survey.
