AGENDA ITEM: Authorize the City Manager to execute Project Agreement with
Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) for Design of a Fishing
and Viewing Pier at Dutton Island Preserve

BACKGROUND: The City Commission authorized Staff to submit a grant application
for the design of a fishing and viewing pier at Dutton Island
Preserve. The grant was approved by FIND and is a matching
grant totaling $20,000 of which the City will be reimbursed
$10,000. Attached for your review, is the approved Waterways
Assistance Program Project Agreement from FIND. Once the
agreement is signed, it will be returned to FIND for their signatures.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to execute Project Agreement with
Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) for Design of a Fishing
and Viewing Pier at Dutton Island Preserve
