Resolution No. 20-22RESOLUTION NO. 20-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REPAIRS OF THE COURTYARDS LIFT STATION BY GRUHN MAY, INC. WHEREAS, on May 28, 2020 staff received a proposal from Gruhn May, Inc., in the amount of $87,495.28 to provide labor and materials in the repair of the Courtyards Lift Station, located at 2595 Mayport Road; and WHEREAS, this work is intended to repair the influent lines to the Courtyards Lift Station, including replacing the sewer line, removing brush, repairing of chain link fencing, removing old wood fencing, replacing electric service, new service disconnect and meter, removing the old 1.5" water line, relocating the antennae, and removal and replacing the manhole top, ring and cover road stabilization, removal of temporary bypass piping and connection to manhole, and site restoration; and WHEREAS, the City has a contract Gruhn May, Inc. as the utilities contractor; and WHEREAS, funds for this work are budgeted in the infrastructure account 410-5508-535-63- 00 under project number PU2013. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as follows: SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to approve a Purchase Order to Gruhn May, Inc. in the amount of $87,495.28; and Attest: SECTION 2.
