Fire-life guards 2021Fire Control and Rescue Services Purpose: The Fire and Emergency Medical Services in Atlantic Beach are provided through a contract between the City of Atlantic Beach and the City of Jacksonville. Atlantic Beach provides facilities and funding to Jacksonville, and Jacksonville staffs the Atlantic Beach Fire Station. The agreement provides for an Advance Life Support (ALS) level of emergency medical care for citizens, and the department members continue to provide tours, blood pressure checks, and community services as requested.
