AGENDA ITEM: Annual Contract for Cleaning and Televising Sewer Lines, City Bid No. 9899-8

BACKGROUND: The project is to provide a contractor under an annual contract for cleaning and .
televising sewer lines in the Atlantic Beach and Buccaneer Utility Districts.
Four bids were received by the Awards Committee on December l6, 1998, for the Annual Contract,
Cleaning and Televising Sewer Lines, City Bid No. 9899-8. The low bidder was Video Industrial Services,
Inc., with a total cost $0.89 per linear foot for cleaning and televising sewer lines.
All required documents, along with television tapes of work previously done, were submitted. Documents
and tapes'were reviewed by Public Works personnel and found satisfactory.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the low bid of Video Industrial Services, Inc. for the annual contract
for Cleaning and Televising Sewer Lines, and authorize the City Clerk to send notification of award to the
bidder.
