BACKGROUND: This bid was for asix-inch emergency standby sewage pump, complete with engine
and automatic level controller.
The Awards Committee received four bids on December 16, 1998. One of the vendors questioned whether
the specifications included items that were proprietary in nature. In order to further review and clarify the
specifications, we would like to reject all bids.
RECOMMENDATION: City Commission to reject all bids in order to review and clarify the
specifications.
