These standards are set forth in the International Property Maintenance Code and the Florida Building Code and were adopted as part of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances in Chapter 6, Article II, Section 6-16. A code enforcement inspection at 165 DONNER RD was conducted on 7/13/2020. The City of Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances: VIOLATION CODE: IPMC Sec. 301.3 Vacant Structures and Land. All vacant structures shall be maintained in a clean, safe, secure and sanitary condition as provided herein so as not to cause a blighting problem or adversely affect the public health or safety. VIOLATION CODE: IPMC Sec. 302.4 Weeds.All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of twelve(12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses,annual plants and vegetation,other than trees or shrubs provided; however,this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. VIOLATION CODE: IPMC Sec. 304.6 Exterior walls.All exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent deterioration. NATURE OF VIOLATION: The house appears vacant and abandoned. The lawn and landscaping is overgrown.The exterior covering on the rear of the property is falling off and is in need of repair. This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by mowing the lawn the lawn within 5 days of this letter and repairing the exterior siding of the home within thirty (30) days of the receipt of this notice. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Failure to correct the violation by the required date may result in this case being referred to the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate resulting in fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day.
