Consider is an Official Notification of Violation. Investigation by the Code Enforcement Office has
revealed that the pole sign for the shopping center is damaged and poorly maintained, a violation
of the following City Ordinance:
City Code: Chapter 17, Sec17- 41 (b) Removal of unsafe, damaged or poorly maintained and
abandoned signs.
Per the aforementioned City Ordinance I am granting you 30 days from receipt of this notification to
have the pole sign completely removed, as it no longer complies with current sign regulations and
is considered to be a public nuisance. Failure to comply will result in the City having the sign
removed at your expense plus an additional 100% of the cost for administrative fees.
Furthermore you are reminded that as a property owner in the City of Atlantic Beach, you are
