BACKGROUND:
BellSouth Telephone Company has submitted an easement document for the installation of
a junction box on a portion of the Adele Grage Community CenterBull Park property. The box
is needed to meet the demands for new service in Atlantic Beach. The easement is at the location
shown to the City Commission at the meeting of March 8,1999.
The proposed cabinet is 4 feet by 8 feet and is 6 feet high. It is to be placed on a concrete
slab 12 feet by 15 feet within an easement 15 feet by 15 feet and 5 feet by 25 feet. The area
shown on the attached survey is large enough to accommodate the concrete pad as well as
(~~ an access easement to the box. The easement document was reviewed by the City Attorney and
the changes noted by him were incorporated into the document.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the City Manager to execute the prepared easement document with BellSouth
Telecommunications, Inc..
