COMMENTS:
1 Tree Survey submitted is dated 6/22/1998, and shows trees apparently designated for removal and
preservation per a past permit application.
2 DBHs listed for "surveyed" trees are incorrect since some species grow substantially in a 12-year period;
Measurements of additional trees written in on survey are given in circumference, were converted to DBH
(diameter= circumference/2*pi) by staff.
3 Generic terminology("ironwoods", "oaks") was used on Tree Survey;actual species should be used on
future applications.
4 Approved to remove total of 104" trees of which 83" are regulated (73" hardwoods, io" palms); Mitigation is
calculated per Section 23-33(b) and assessed at 36.5o". Credit is allowed for 34" hardwoods designated to
be preserved onsite, per submitted tree survey and listed above. Balance due is 2.50", to be planted
prior to final inspection for pool installation or six (6) months from issuance of this permit,
whichever occurs first.

The Sevilla Gardens Homeowners Association has no objections to the removal of
trees required for installation of a swimming pool at the residence of Clay and
Lynn Robertson k12,6pSevilla Blvd W., Atlantic Beach, FL 32233). Our
Architectural Re iew Committee has reviewed the site and concurs with the
request. (Attached). To the best of our knowledge, no "protected trees" are
identified for removal.
We require only that the tree removal meet the city's criteria and that a permit be
granted in accordance with Atlantic Beach ordinances.
