10 10th Street - Cloisters Unit 52 - Renovation Questions - 6Good morning sir, I am working w/ Ranier, Inc. on a renovation to this model… and due to major cracks in the existing light-weight concrete cover on the floor (which we also assume served as the fire separation) they are completely re-doing the floor. They are trying to determine what hour rating the new floor system needs to be at. I would assume we could go back with the same material and it would be just like the original…. But I wanted to get your thoughts prior to suggesting. I believe a typical 1-5/8” lightweight (perlite concrete) topping is a typical 1hr assembly but that’s not my expertise…. Typically an architect provides this info. Due to it being a replacement of existing, I think going back w/ that should suffice but ultimately I am just verifying all of the structure is good for this and the few changes they want to make.
