Cloister Unit 65 - 2 Dan,
To be clear, you are NOT requiring any engineer certification as to the
entire building in accordance with the policy you advised was adopted?
Are you requiring any engineer analysis of the vertical support
established by the design at to the Howell?s floor? If not why?
Thank you,
Barry

Hello,
As you requested, I am notifying you that the City of Atlantic
Beach has issued a building permit for Cloister Unit 65, for the repair
of a wall bottom plate drilled through during a destructive engineering
investigation.
Please note that the permitted repair is only for repair of the
plate, not the correction of any other structural issue in the building
framing between units.
Sincerely,
Dan Arlington
