RE: Lifeguard Station Change Order #4
Attached is Change Order #4 for the Lifeguard Station project. The changes
include structural additions to strengthen the wall system by using plywood on the
n interior as well as the exterior. This plywood replaces the sheetrock which is more
susceptible to damage from moisture.
Other Items include a window in the bathroom at no charge, smaller a/c unit, an
aluminum electric meter can which will outlast a metal can, additional strapping and red
head anchor bolts.

Pursuant to the Construction Agreement between Contractor and Owner dated
15 September, 1999, Contractor agrees to perform the following as a change to
the original specifications and plans:
Cost:
1. Reframe west wall of bathroom to include vanity into bath. 200.
2. Add 2020 Marvin awning window to bathroom. NC.
3. Use'/~" CDX plywood on East-West interior walls for stiffness
Vs drywall. 500.
4. Upgrade stairwell roof system from "single ply" membrane to
Galvalume metal system with doubled wind resistance clips. 400.
5. Downgrade air conditioning system to smaller "package
system". (965.)
6. Supply aluminum meter can vs steel. 74.
7. Shift electrical panel box one stud bay South. 0.
8. Use 3/" plywood stair treads vs 2x12" PT pine. 0.
9. Add 8 additional First Floor wind resistance straps with redhead
anchors. 192.
10. Use 2x8"PT Stairwell Roof fascia with subfascia vs 2x4. 224.
Total: $1,025.
