Coordinated and implemented city activities that include: A. After school Program in Jordan Park- Prepared the kids for their final weeks of school testing. Begin coordinating the summer camp activities. * Dee also is the basketball coach for the Donner Park team, which ended its season. The older team finished with an unbeaten record and the younger team finished with two loses. B. After school Ar•t Pi•og~•am at Adele Gi•age The students completed the mirror and we are in the process of coordinating the summer program. The Af}erschool program ended at the end of May. C. After School Program in Donner Park. The Cheerleaders attended the Leroy Butler, St. Pawls Tnner City Cheerleader clinic and work shop. * The Basketball team went to a tournament in Hinesville, Ga. unfortunately, both teams lost, but they since to enjoy the experience of traveling to a tournment. Attended a public forum at Friendship Baptist Church, to discuss the Church's Outreach Program. * Met with Staffto plan Summer Camp. * Added two adults to the Learn to Read Program. * The afterschool program is going well. Debbie Downey informed us that unless another grant is found over the summer, student workers will no longer exist. 2. Prepared minutes and agenda far the Recreation Board. 3, Attended five after five meetings for a total of thirty (30) hours which included: City Commission, Recreation and Teen Council 4. Overseeing the Construction of the Tresca Property. 5. Attended a meeting to discuss the purchase of property near Dutton island. b. Answered questions and etc. for the Bull Park Pro_ ject, Dutton island and the Tresca Property 7. Coordinated the Teen Council Punk Concert. 8. Attended a meeting with the City of Jacksonville Community Relations Department to discuss funding for the Jordan Park Program. 9. Other activities included daily meetings, reports, telephone calls, park inspections, and etc. '_ J
