WHEREA~~, John Fletcher was appointed to the Pension Board of Trustees on :(anu.ary~ 1 1,
1993, and
WHERI3AS, John Fletcher has served as Chairman of the Pension Board of Tnistees since
May, 1998, and.
w~ WHER]EAS, durings tenure on the Pension Board of Trustees, John Fletcher €;ave
unselfishly of his tirne and tal nts and provided practical and logical review of pension issues facing
the city and its eml~loyf:es, and gave a sense that the pension plan was in good hands, a»d
WHEREAS, John Fletcher has indicated that he will be moving out of the city and has
submitted his resignation from the Pension Board of Trustees.
NOW, THERF;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach expresses deep appreciation to John Fletcher for his leadership and his service to our
community, and extends best wishes for his future happiness.
