Kosoy, P.E., Director of Public Works ~~~~• DATE: September 1, 1999 BACKGR®UND: The Selva. Norte; Lift Station is located at 404 20`'' Street. A 50' utility easement allowing access to the; lift station runs through the property owned by Mr. Jack Pate at 1945 Brista De Mar. Mr. Pate would like to donate all the property on the easterly side of his existing fence to the Cite. This property would allow City vehicles to make a proper turnaround when checking or servicing the lift station rather than encroaching on Mr. Pate's property when a vehicle must turn around. Further, the ~~r~r City could plant some; shrubs and beautify the property. His only requirement is that the City do the survey and legal work:, i.e. "quick take: 'for the property to be transferred. RECOMMENDATION;: Aufhori:Te City staff and the City Attorney to obtain a legal boundary survey and obtain ownership of the properi:y through a "quick take" agreement with Mr. Fate.
