A stop work order was issued on December 28, 2012 and again on February 1, 201, for work being performed for stairs prior to obtaining a building permit and/or approvals as required. VIOLATION FLORIDA BUILDING CODE Section 105 PERMITS 105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter,repair, move,demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter,repair, remove, convert or replace any required impact resistant coverings, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. (Addition of concrete pads/piers for proposed stairway on Westside of dwelling without plans/approvals, inspections or permits) You are requested to remove all the concrete pads poured in place on the west side of the property without approvals/inspections within five (5) days of the receipt of this notice. Failure to comply and additional work done on this property prior to obtaining the required approvals and permits will result in your appearance before the Code Enforcement Board. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for continuing violations.
