Land Development Regulations. Section 24-17. Definitions. Short term rentals shall mean any residential rental or lease the term of which is less than ninety (90) days. Short term rentals shall similarly be considered to be commercial uses as are Hotel, Motel, Motor Lodge, Resort Rental, Bed and Breakfast or Tourist Court Uses. (Short term rentals are not permitted in a residentally zoned district) This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing the short term rental from the internet within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations.
