I am delighted to write this letter to support the efforts of Baptist Medical Center-
Beaches as you;plan for the expansion of your maternity wing.
Since this uni~ opened two years ago in response to community request for
maternity services in the beaches area, this facility has met the expectations of the
beaches residents for high quality, convenient, family centered care.
Over thirteen hundred babies have been born in the facility, many to Atlantic
Beach families. Since the beaches area has experienced considerable growth in
recent yeat-s, it is increasingly important to have a facility that is adequate to
support the needs of the community.
We, in Atlantic Beach, are proud to have in our community a medical facility that
has the excellent reputation of Baptist Medical Center-Beaches, and wish you
continued success as you embark on this important expansion.
