A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC EACH EXTENDING THE
TERM OF JEB T. BRANHAM AS SPECIAL MAGISTRATE FOR ONE YEAR;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND
PURCHASE ORDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City retained the Special Magistrate services of Jeb T. Branham as
approved in Resolution No. 19-25; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances Sec. 2-143 (e) stipulates that
the annual term of Special Magistrate may be extended upon adoption of a resolution of the City
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach desires to extend Jeb T. Branham's term as Special
Magistrate one year.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
as follows:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby extends the term of Jeb. T. Branham as Special
Magistrate to perform Special Magistrate services.
Section 2. Funds are available for this purpose in Account No. 001-1006-524-3400.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract in accordance
with and as necessary to effectuate the provisions of this Resolution.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
