RECOGNIZING JOHN FLETCHER FOR ffiS SERVICE ON TAE
_ - - PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES - - - __ _ ___
WHEREAS John Fletcher was appointed to the Pension Board of Trustees on January 11 _~
1993 and -
WHEREAS John Fletcher has served as Chairman of the Pension Board of Trustees since
May 1998 and
WHEREAS during his tenure on the Pension Board of Trustees John Fletcher gave
unselfishly of lus time and talents and provided practical and logical review of pension issues facing
the city and its employees and gave a sense that the pension plan was in good hands and
WHEREAS John Fletcher has indicated that he will be moving out of the city and has
submitted his resignation from the Pension Board of Trustees L _ _ ~`
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission of the City of Atlantic _
_ Beach expresses deep appreciation to John Fletcher for lus leadership and his sernce to our
commumty and extends best wishes for lus future happiness _
