ROLL CALL:
Present: Brittany Norris, Commissioner/Chair
Sally Clemens, Committee Member
Kenneth Reeves, Committee Member
Tony Pooley, Chair of ESC/Committee Member
Absent: Pamela White, Committee Member

CALL TO ORDER
Commissioner Norris called the meeting to order at 6:36 p.m.
1.PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no public comments submitted or expressed.
2.DISCUSS CANDIDATE AND MAKE RECOMMENDATION
A. Barbie Brooksher, applicant for ESC District 1312
Commissioner Norris spoke regarding the recent ESC vacancy, stating that Ms.
Brooksher meets the requirement for the District 1312 seat. Ms. Brooksher was
appointed to Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee (CARAC) and will be
resigning to fill the ESC vacancy. She recently interviewed for ESC, so an interview is
not needed for this meeting.
CC Clerk Bartle reported that the other applicants on file for ESC do not meet the district
requirement for this vacancy.
The Committee reported that they had reviewed the candidate's application and had no
questions.
MOTION: Recommend appointing Barbie Brooksher to the Environmental Stewardship
Committee to fill an unexpired term as a District 1312 Member effective immediately and
expiring on December 31, 2020.

3. OTHER BUSINESS
The next meeting was scheduled for September 22, 2020.
Discussion and questions ensued regarding applicants, current and upcoming openings, and
members' terms that are ending this year. All questions were answered.
Commissioner Norris asked Mr. Pooley to check with the ESC members whose terms are
expiring this year to see if they are interested in serving another term. Mr. Pooley responded
that he would. Commissioner Norris expressed the need for all Board/Committee Chairs to do
the same.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Norris adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p.m.
