These standards are set forth in the International Property Maintenance Code and the Florida Building Code and were adopted as part of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances in Chapter 6,Article II, Section 6-16. We received a complaint regarding your property and a code enforcement inspection at 372 AQUATIC DR was conducted on 12/8/2020. The City of Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances: VIOLATION CODE: 1.IPMC Sec.302.7 Accessory structures.All accessory structures, including detached garages,fences and walls,shall be maintained structurally sound and in good repair.AND 2.FBC Section 105 Permit 105.1 Required.Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct,enlarge,alter,repair,remove, demolish,or change the occupancy of a building or structure,or to erect, install,enlarge,alter,repair,remove, convert or replace any required impact resistant coverings,electrical,gas,mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of which is regulated by this code,or to cause any such work to be done,shall first make application to the Building Official and obtain the required permit. NATURE OF VIOLATION: There is a metal shed on the side of the home.According to our records,no permit was ever issued for the installation of a shed in on your property. The metal shed on the rear right side of your home is unpermitted and is not in good repair as required by code. This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by removing or obtaining a valid permit to repair or replace the metal shed within thirty(30)days of the receipt of this notice.
