1. Height: Section 24-17 requires height to be measured from grade to the highest point of a
building’s roof structure or parapet and any attachments thereto, exclusive of chimneys. P lease show
the overall height to the highest point on plans.
2. Front yard projections: Section 24-83(b) states that architectural features such as eaves and
cornices, and cantilevered bay windows, open balconies and porches may project a distance not to
exceed forty-eight (48) inches into required front and rear yards. Please show that the guest house
balcony meets this requirement or revise accordingly.
