Side Walls Length: Section 24-172(c)(1) requires that second floor side walls be no longer than 35 feet in length without an architectural offset in the wall. A second floor side wall exc eeds 35 feet in length. Please revise plans accordingly. Informational Comments Shade Trees: Section 24-172(c)(4) requires 2 shade trees to be located on the property as part of the Old Atlantic Beach Design Standards. One of the shade trees must be located within the front yard. This is the area within 20 feet of the property line along the street. The second tree can be located anywhere else on the lot. Keep this in mind when creating the landscape/mitigation plan for the tree removal permit.
