Re: 1249 Beach Avenue DEP Letter
Mr. Jim Dupree,
The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a new single family home
to be built east of an existing garage apartment and a new swimming pool east of the new single
family home at 1249 Beach Avenue. Also included in these plans are new fencing and a fire pit
feature. Drawings provided show that the new single family home complies with all required
setbacks and that the proposed pool is at least 5 feet from side and rear property lines. Additionally
no portion of the structure projects more than 24 inches into the required side yard. Based on this,
the proposed construction does not contravene any local setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
