Ms. Davidson: Just to answer your questions about the Fleet landing
expansion. Yes we are expanding, a project called the "Palms at Fleet
Landing", a beautiful project located on property that is actually in
Jaksonville, not the City of Atlantic Beach, but being permitted though
Atlantic Beach. No trucks will be going through Selva, rather all
construction trucks will come off Mayport Road and never be visible to any
citizens of our fair city. The land in question is in back of a shopping
center on Mayport Road and is not part of any "preserve" around us. We have
owned the land for several years and our site plan has basically been
approved since 2002. There will be no impact on anyone's quality of life
due to this project. As to our Selva Gate, you have bad information. That
gate was never restricted to an "emergency only" gate during the original
permitting of Fleet Landing. Don't know where you got your information but
it is wrong, our residents have an absolute right to use that gate any time
whey want... Hope I have provided useful information. We are and want to
be good neighbors in our community.

maintaining the identity of our sweet little town.
the work being done by the "Save AB" committee is consistent with the way
i'd like to see our town.
keep it simple, keep it lovely, respect our neighbors' rights to enjoy wind
and light and space, and finally just respect all of our rights to enjoy the
town we moved into.

the question is "AT WHAT COST?".
will he be tearing in to the preserves all around Fleet Landing?
where else will he put all those houses and an apartment building??
will he be hauling trucks and supplies up and down Selva Marina Drive,
jeopardizing the canopy and the peace?
will he create EVEN MORE misuse of that "emergency only entrance" to Fleet
Landing on Selva Marina Drive (an issue all of its own)
