RE Fleet Landing Entrance Sign (2)We have advised Walgreens that LED signs are not permitted, and I have had no success in changing opinions on that issue. Sonya From: Carper, Rick Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2010 5:22 PM To: John Meserve Personal Email Cc: Doerr, Sonya; Griffin, Michael Subject: RE: Fleet Landing Entrance Sign John, I do not have the Architectural Plans which include the sign details, only the civil drawings which show the proposed location (plans call out a monument sign with LED reader board, with centerline of sign located 22’ inside of Mayport Road ROW and 14’ inside of Fleet Landing Blvd ROW). Architectural plans should be available in the Building Department. In response to the other question you asked earlier, civil drawings are very clear that access to Fleet Landing Blvd from the hotel parking lot is closed. As construction is about to happen on the Walgreens property do you have construction plans. I am interested in what they intend to do about Walgreen’s signage. From the sketch and a quick drive-by, it appears the new sign could be shifted several feet to the west, with a possible issue with the disconnect breaker handle located near the bottom of the JEA transmission pole.
