The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for various projects including a
new deck with pergola and outdoor kitchen and lower level deck on east of an existing single
family home as well as deck and stair replacement on the south and west side of the same single
family home at 1789 Beach Avenue. There is also landscape improvements with sea turtle friendly
lighting. Drawings provided show that the pergola with outdoor kitchen and elevated deck comply
with all setback requirements. Based on this, the proposed construction does not contravene any
local setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
