The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a new swimming pool to be
constructed west of an existing single family home and east of a proposed garage addition at 1719
Beach Avenue. The City previously reviewed plans and wrote a letter for the previously mentioned
garage addition as well as a patio with trellis and fireplace and associated site work including
retaining walls. Drawings provided show that the swimming pool complies with all required
setbacks. Based on this, the proposed construction does not contravene any local setbacks or
zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
