1. Rear Setback: Section 24-108(e)(2) requires a rear yard setback of 20 feet for this property. The
proposed plans show additional structure within the 20 foot rear yard setback. The existing home is a
nonconforming structure because a portion of the house is within the 20 foot rear yard setback. Section
24-85(c) prohibits nonconforming structures from being expanded upon in a way that increases the
nonconformity.
