The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a new single family home
at 1927 Beach Avenue. The proposed construction does not contravene any local setbacks and
zoning codes with one exception. The one exception is that portions of roof overhangs exceed
allowable projections into required setbacks. It is expected that these issues can be easily
resolved and will not affect the building’s location, foundation, or any other structural elements
of the structure. The project will still need a formal submittal and review by all applicable staff
prior to final approval.
