Revisions submitted MUST respond to EACH department review. Submittals that respond to only one or a
few correction items will not be accepted.
Correction Comments:
1. Tree Removal: Section 23-21 requires a Tree Removal Permit for any trees removed within 2 years of
this project. There is currently an open Tree Removal Permit (see separate attachment) for this
property submitted in 2016 showing the removal of 10 palms totaling 106” in diameter. Please clarify if
this is still the tree removal plan or revise the permit to show any changes.
2. Setbacks: Section 24-108 requires a 20 foot setback from the western property line. The submitted
plans appear to call out a 19’-6” setback to the garage. Please show that the minimum 20 foot setback
is being met or revise accordingly.
3. Lighting Standards: Section 5-37 requires certain lighting standards for all construction activities within
the designated sea turtle protection area. See separate attachment for these lighting stand ards. Please
show that the lighting complies with these standards or revise accordingly.
4. Retaining Wall: Section 24-157(b)(3) limits the maximum height of retaining walls to 4 feet from grade.
The retaining wall shown sheet A7 exceeds this maximum height. Also, the height of the retaining wall
is measured from the grade on the lowest side of the wall. Please revise accordingly.
5. Mechanical Equipment: Please clarify the location of any mechanical equipment being placed
outdoors, if applicable. The plans that went to DEP show A/C pads as well as pool equipment on the
north side of the house, however these are not shown on the other sets of plans.

Resubmittal Notes:
All revisions and changes shall clearly stand out from the rest of the drawing on the sheet as a revision by way of
completely encircling the change with “clouding”. The revision shall also be identified as to the sequence of revision by
indicating a triangle with the revision sequence number within it and located adjacent to the cloud. The revision date
and revision sequence number shall also be indicated in a conspicuous location in the title block for each sheet on which
a revision for that sequence occurs. For projects still in the initial review stage and permit pending, all sheets with
revisions shall be inserted into each set of drawings. The original sheets must be clearly marked “VOID” but are to be left
within the set of drawings. Complete new sets of drawings will not be accepted. ADDITIONAL ITEMS MAY BE REQUIRED
DEPENDING UPON NEW INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.
