152 3rd Street Zoning Review Comments
1. Side Wall: Old Atlantic Beach Design Standards limit the maximum length of a second floor side wall
to 35 feet long without relief. The second floor side wall on the south side of the building exceeds
this. Please revise plans to show an offset that breaks up the second floor side wall.
2. Tree Removal: Please submit a Tree Removal Permit Application if any trees are to removed. If no
trees are to be removed, then please fill out an Affidavit of No Tree Removal. Both forms are
available on the city website under “Planning and Zoning” and at City Hall.
3. Shade Trees: Old Atlantic Beach Design Standards require at least two shade trees on the property
with at least one located in the front yard. Please show these trees in the Tree Removal Permit
Application or a landscape plan, whether existing or to be planted. In this case the front yard is the
area within 20 feet of the property line along Ocean Boulevard.
