BACKGROUND: A Public Works vehicle is in need of replacement due to age and
deterioration. During the budget process our fleet maintenance contractor, Ryder/MLS inspected
this vehicle and recommended the vehicle be replaced.
We are requesting replacement of a truck in the Streets Division, specifically, Truck P-6, a
1990 Ford F250 with 89,905 miles, which will be replaced with a compact truck.
Note: The mileage noted does not reflect a tremendous amount of idling time.
This vehicle is being replaced under the State Contract Bid No. 99-07-0913.
BUDGET: Funds for this vehicle replacement are budgeted and available in the following
account:

BACKGROUND: A Public Works vehicle is in need of replacement due to age and
deterioration. During the budget process our fleet maintenance contractor, Ryder/MLS
inspected this vehicle and recommended the vehicle be replaced.
We are requesting replacement of a truck in the Streets Division, specifically, Truck P-20, a
four wheel drive 1986 Chevrolet truck with 73,526 miles which will be replaced with a compact
four wheel drive truck. Note: The mileage noted does not reflect a tremendous amount of idling
time.
This vehicle is being replaced under the State Contract Bid No. 99-07-0913.
BUDGET: Funds for this vehicle replacement are budgeted and available in the following
account:
