Subject: BOARD VACANCIES
This is to advise the following board appointments will be on the agenda for the meeting of
December 13, 1999.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BOARD:
(4-year term; Appointed by the City Commission)
Leonard "Buzzy" Grunthal:
Mr. Grunthal has submitted a letter of resignation. His term was due to expire on
December 31, 1999, so it would be appropriate to appoint a replacement for
slightly more than the 4-year term, which would expire December 31, 2003.
Don Wolfson:
Mr. Wolfson has served on the Community Development Board since February
1989. Term will expire December 31, 1999.
Section 14-17 of the City Code provides that members of the Community Development Board
must be residents of Atlantic Beach, and where practical, shall possess some special skill or
knowledge which would assist them in the discharge of their responsibilities.
