City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances in Chapter 6,Article II, Section 6-16.
A code enforcement inspection at 1335 ROSE ST was conducted on 2/1/2020. The City of Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement has found your property to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances:
VIOLATION CODE: FBC Section 105 Permit 105.1 Required.Any owner or authorized agent who intends to
construct,enlarge,alter,repair,remove,demolish,or change the occupancy of a building or structure,or to erect,
install,enlarge,alter,repair,remove,convert or replace any required impact resistant coverings,electrical,gas,
mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of which is regulated by this code,or to cause any such work to
be done,shall first make application to the Building Official and obtain the required permit.
NATURE OF VIOLATION:An unpermitted addition has been added to the rear of the home. At least one wall
is constructed of louvered panels.Engineering plans must be submitted to verify that this structure meets the
requirements of the Florida Building Code and will withstand wind forces as required by code.
This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by submitting a permit application with
engineer plans or removing the unpermitted structure attached to the rear of the home within thirty (30)
days of the receipt of this notice.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Failure to correct the violation by the required date may result in
this case being referred to the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate resulting in fines up to two hundred fifty
dollars ($250.00) per day. Upon completion of the action required, it is your responsibility to contact me and
