The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a new detached covered
structure over an existing patio east of the single family home at 1769 Beach Avenue. Drawings
provided show that the new structure is at least 5 feet from side and rear property lines. Based on
this, the proposed construction does not contravene any local setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
