1707 Beach Avenue FDEP Letter 09.25.2020 September 25, 2020 Mr, James Dupree 200 1st Street, Suite 206 Neptune Beach, FL 32266 Re: 1707 Beach Avenue FDEP Letter Mr. Dupree, The City of Atlantic Beach conducted a preliminary review of the plans prepared by James W. Dupree III, dated September 23, 2020, for a proposed renovation to an existing single family home at 1707 Beach Avenue. The proposed renovation includes new fencing and retaining walls, a new pergola west of the house, new driveway material, the addition of new enclosed space on the south side of the house, and reconstruction/replacement of the two-story deck on the east side of the house. Based on the plans provided, the proposed renovation does not contravene any local setbacks or zoning codes. Please note that the placement of any fill on the property, either from the excavation of material on-site or new fill brought in from off-site, must be approved by the city prior to being distributed on the property. This letter does not constitute an approval by the City. The project must still be submitted to the City in a permit application and be approved by all applicable departments prior to approval.
