I am a geographer with both a B.S. and M.S. in geography and nine years of experience in the field of GIS. During this time I have spend the past four years with the St. Johns County GIS Division. While with the County I have served as the GIS Division's representative to the Board of County Commissioners and Planning and Zoning Agency meetings for nearly 2 years. From this experience I have gained knowledge of the development process and seen first hand how the development process works and issues it poses. Please provide a brief explanation of your interest or any special qualifications you have in this field and your reasons for wishing to be appointed to this board/committee. As resident of Atlantic Beach I have a desire to apply my academic and work experience to serve the community I live in.
