With a background in environmental marketing and sustainability, I have a unique combination of skills and perspectives
that would benefit the committee. Environmental issues can be very complicated, and it's urgent that citizens are able to
grasp what is at stake for them and their community. In my work with scientists for many years I've been tasked with
translating issues into language that the layman can understand and act upon. I've addressed the public, worked with
the media, and created materials and messaging that get the point across to a large audience.
