Please explain any employment experience, board/committee experience, and/or community volunteer experience
relative to the board/committee applying for.
I am currently employed as VP,Sales for a book publishing house.When I worked at Advanced Disposal,I was in charge of setting up community events including
recycling events.I sourced the locations,recruited volunteers,wrote press releases,and ran the events.Also I was in charge of recruiting volunteers
to work community events-such as the 26.2 with Donna marathon-to spread the message about recycling and green communities.When the Beaches
Women's Partnership non-profit was operating in Atlantic Beach, I volunteered and wrote all their press releases. I have volunteered and worked
at the Dancing in the Streets event in Atlantic Beach, and I have participated many times in the MS150 charity cycling event.
Please provide a brief explanation of your interest or any special qualifications you have in this field and your reasons
for wishing to be appointed to this board/committee.
I want to be more involved in my community and help create an exciting and fun environment for the residents of Atlantic Beach. I have worked
in professional sales my entire career,and I am skilled in brainstorming ideas and bringing them to fruition. I am creative and a good problem-
solver. I am also skilled at forming and nurturing relationships,working in teams, and negotiation.
