Please explain any employment experience, board/committee experience, and/or community volunteer experience
relative to the board/committee applying for.
I served on the Community Development Board from approximately 2006-2009 . I left the CDB when
I moved into Jax for a few years to accommodate my children 's schooling , but I have since returned to
Atlantic Beach and would like to continue to serve the city in some way. I have lived here a total of 18
years. I have past Board experience with a large professional association of FBI agents, Beaches Habitat
& Mayor' s Commission on the Status of Women . I am a retired FBI agent , former head of the North Florid
Joint Terrorism Task Force, and UNF professor in the Criminology & Criminal Justice Department .
Please provide a brief explanation of your interest or any special qualifications you have in this field and your reasons
for wishing to be appointed to this board/committee.
My background would qualify me to serve again on the CDB or to serve on Code Enforcement or
the Pension Board . I do have an interest in public art and have made suggestions in the past .
I love the feel of AB and would like to do my part to make government a better friend of our
the citizens. I would like to work toward a more collegial and transparent approach .
I am well versed in parliamentary procedure . I would be honored to serve on any of the committees.
